Overview

Coulson Capital runs a portfolio of independent brands in media, health, wellness, biotech, and community.

As part of Coulson Capital’s in-house media team, I was asked by founder Foster Coulson to retire the Stardust Group brand and relaunch the parent as Coulson Capital. I led the rebrand and website so the growing portfolio reads credible, clear, and easy to scale.

Challenge

to build a brand that meant business.

As the portfolio grew into media, health, wellness, and biotech, the playful Stardust brand and dated site no longer matched the business. Foster Coulson asked me to rebrand it as Coulson Capital with a sharper identity and a modern, “killer and cool” site that tells the story fast.

Final System

To move from soft to strong

The old branding leaned elegant but generic, closer to lifestyle than finance. The new identity reduces everything to a single, bold gesture — a gold “C.” Paired with a black–white–gold palette, the system feels modern, confident, and timeless. It signals stability and authority, while the brushstroke texture keeps a human touch. The result is a brand that’s premium, resilient, and unmistakable in its category.

Website

To make the portfolio clear and easy to scale.

The new Coulson Capital site replaces the old logo wall with a structured system that tells the story fast. The homepage opens with a simple hero and clear CTAs, followed by portfolio tiles that make each company easy to explore. Built on a modular CMS, new brands can be added in minutes—keeping the site flexible as the portfolio grows.

Activation

To bring the brand into motion and everyday use.

Beyond the core mark, the identity unfolds into motion, banners, and digital collateral. The brush-stroke C translates into movement and rhythm, while the stripped palette and type system keep it clear and controlled. These extensions give Coulson Capital a presence in the channels that matter most — from investor decks to social feeds — making the brand hard to miss and easy to trust.
