Design Rationale - student project
I was asked to design a poster campaign that includes a main poster, a set of postcards, a magazine ad and a social ad.
The Design was inspired by the Dubai Design Week Logo. The main components of the poster is using a deconstruction of the letter D, which is the first letter of the organizing committee. The color theme was inspired by the style of the Bauhaus poster. The layout of the poster is inspired by the golden ratio.
The whole poster campaign, if all put together, connects to each other.

BC Silver Alert - Student Project
People with mental health conditions can experience memory and other cognitive deficits. They may wander away from home, and forget how to get back. They may not know they are lost, and may not ask for help. With our help we will be able to reunite them with their family, bring back smiles for their families.
The challenge I posted for myself is - How might we raise awareness, encourage people to check the Silver Alerts to help people?
RESERACH

Wandering and getting lost is common among people with dementia and can happen during any stage of the disease.
A person with Alzheimer’s may not remember his or her name or address,
and can become disoriented, even in familiar places. Wandering among people with dementia is dangerous.

The goal of the BC Silver Alert is to provide a valuable public alerting system so that specific, targeted alerts can assist first responders to locate missing people who meet the criteria for urgency and vulnerability.
There is no such system currently in place in British Columbia.
